The two games are having crossover content.

The developers at Techland and Psyonix are teaming up to do a crossover between their two games, Dying Light and Rocket League. Each game will contain content from the other, and it seems like a pretty good fit given their love for vehicles. With the recent release of Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition, Techland added dirt buggies to bring carnage and destruction to the undead occupants of Harran’s countryside. Similarly, the release of Rocket League on Xbox One now opened up for more people to enjoy the explosion-infused RC car football fun.

The buggies from Dying Light: The Following will be getting a new Rocket League-themed paint job, which you can take a look at in the video below. The game will also be getting a new game mode inspired by Rocket League, though details remain sketchy at the moment, though we expect it to be really fun.

In order to get the paint job, all you have to do is type in “LightMyRocket” at this website.

As for Rocket League, fans of both games can expect some Dying Light-related items to show up in the game. There’s no word on whether they’ll be vehicles or simply things you can put on your vehicles.

“We’re huge fans of Rocket League and because both games offer great driving fun, we thought why not just partner up and give fans of both games some unique stuff,” Techland producer Tymon Smektala said.
